Mawson Lakes will unveil new residential lots in the community’s Cascades village next month in response to increased demand from second and third home buyers.
The Cascades village is located in the north-west of the Mawson Lakes community, close to local transport and The Promenade town centre’s retail shopping and restaurants.
Nestled around a tranquil lake, the village boasts views of the lake and its stunning water feature - three large cubes positioned in the heart of the lake, with bubbling water cascading over the unique steel geometric figures.
On Saturday 10 October, Mawson Lakes will unveil the next stage of land available at The Cascades, offering some affordable terrace allotments as well as some prime waterfront allotments. To register for the release, please contact the Mawson Lakes Sales and Information Centre on (08) 8260 3333 or visit www.mawsonlakes.com.au
Mawson Lakes Project Director Vince Rigter said the popularity of The Cascades had accelerated delivery of the new land release and key infrastructure for the village.
“The Cascades village has character and charm, featuring exotic greenery, striking landscaping and a vibrant inner-city vibe,” he said.
“The Cascades’ chic houses and terrace homes have certainly captured the hearts of homebuyers interested in lakeside living with an inner-city edge. With lush pockets of open space and nearby schools, transport and retail facilities, it is a real family-friendly environment.”
Lined with thick, leafy trees and a classic sandstone village sign, The Cascades Drive entry boulevard off Elder Smith Road will be completed in October. A new hotel and café are also planned for sites adjacent to the village.
“For the kids, we are putting the finishing touches on a shipwreck-themed playground. Complete with a timber shipwrecked boat, octopus seesaw, shark rockers and a sid squid, it will certainly be a magical and fun place for kids to play,” Mr Rigter said.
Mr Rigter said The Cascades was the ideal community for second and third homebuyers, with this market becoming more active in recent months to capitalise on record low interest rates.
“The Cascades features a stunning lake with cascading water features which takes you away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, while still remaining close to retail, education and commercial facilities. I encourage homebuyers to register for The Cascades public land release on Saturday 10 October to secure their new lifestyle,” he said.
