Local businesses given a boost at Mawson Lakes Winter Festival

Northern Adelaide businesses looking to grow and improve during the next 12 months are being encouraged to take part in a range of free business seminars being held in June and July as part of the Mawson Lakes Winter Festival.

The festival features a diverse range of events, including fitness classes, eco tours, astronomy courses, book fair and coffee appreciation night. The vast majority of the events are free.

For businesses looking to get ahead, the Mawson Lakes Winter Festival will feature:

Mawson Lakes Project Director Vince Rigter said the winter calendar featured activities for all tastes, ages and lifestyles, delivered by a range of local organisations and community groups.

“Part of any successful community, is having successful businesses. These free business sessions are aimed at helping all types of businesses. In the current climate, it is important for all businesses to work smarter in order to prosper,” he said.

“Developing a business hub has been a key goal at Mawson Lakes to ensure a self-sufficient and vibrant community.
