Mawson Lakes is putting the final touches on a $5 million new village, The Cove, in response to the strong demand for quality but affordable waterfront residential land in Adelaide.
Situated on Sir Douglas Mawson Lake near the community’s existing homestead, The Cove is adjacent to the business precinct of Technology Park.
Up to 18 lots will be available from Saturday 7 March, ranging in size from 128m2 to 495m2 and ranging in price from $115,000 to $260,000.
Mawson Lakes Project Director Vince Rigter said the new village would meet the demand for quality and affordable residential land in a waterside location in Adelaide.
“First homebuyer activity has been strong at Mawson Lakes on the back of recent government stimulus initiatives, and we are definitely seeing an increase in demand for quality and affordable property in the community,” he said.
“The Cove boasts land from just $115,000, which means land in a waterside location in Adelaide’s premier masterplanned community is now accessible to first and second home buyers.
“Nestled on the edge of Sir Douglas Mawson Lake, The Cove is a contemporary urban village that will feature lush green landscaping and architecturally-designed homes.
“At the heart of the address will be a village park, providing the community with an extended backyard and creating a natural meeting point to socialise, get active or to just sit back and take it all in.
“From strolling to the town centre for a Sunday morning coffee, or going for a jog around the lake after work, you can enjoy an intimate urban life without the inner-city stress.”
Mawson Lakes is being developed by Delfin Lend Lease and Land Management Corporation, and will eventually house approximately 10,000 people in 4,000 homes with 8,000 workers and 6,000 students. Delfin Lend Lease is Australia’s leading developer of urban communities with 24 projects across Australia.
