Late last year, private developer Macq3 Projects Pty Ltd lodged a development application with the City of Salisbury for a new private hospital at Mawson Lakes.
The developer this month advised that it has decided not to proceed with the project.
Despite receiving interest from medical service providers and complementary businesses wanting to be part of the project, the developers said they had been unable to secure an appropriate hospital operator for the project.
While disappointed the project will not proceed, Mawson Lakes continues to investigate new opportunities to deliver facilities to its residents, including health, education, recreation and retail services.
