Availability of Mawson Lakes waterfront land evaporating

Proof that the lure of waterfront living continues to gain momentum, Mawson Lakes has presented its last 20 waterfront lots in its prestigious village, The Bridges.

These allotments are some of the closest absolute waterfront lots to Adelaide’s CBD. Within walking distance to Mawson Lakes’ cosmopolitan town centre, featuring restaurants, cafes, shopping and services.

The last waterfront lots at The Bridges range in size from 138sqm to 469sqm and are priced from $186,000.

Mawson Lakes Project Director Vince Rigter said this premium land in The Bridges included a diverse selection of lots which could accommodate terrace homes through to traditional homes.

“Around Adelaide, waterfront land is a finite resource. The appeal of waterfront land is obvious – uninterrupted views, the cooling and calming effect of water and the greater resale value,” he said.

“But this appeal also means the number of waterfront lots left in Adelaide is fast disappearing. The remaining lots at The Bridges represent some of the last available waterfront land in the Adelaide metropolitan region.

“The Bridges has become one of Mawson Lakes’ key addresses with its very own ornamental lake forming the centrepiece of the village.

“Importantly, homebuyers at The Bridges have the freedom to choose their own builder and design the perfect home to suit their lifestyle, budget and the views of the lake. At the same time, they will be moving into an established community with parks, open space, community services and facilities.”
